Escaping Normal in the Northeast

At Escaping Normal we love sharing our travels and the beautiful scenery we’ve been able to experience.

Most recently, we made a trip from the Northwestern part of Vermont to visit family in Rhode Island. We had a nice visit with them and got the added bonus of being able to spend some time in Connecticut.

The workcamping experience here in Vermont has given us the opportunity to visit the neighboring states and complete this section of our map. We visited Maine a few weeks ago and we’ll be posting about that soon.

The leaves in this area are just starting to turn as you can see in a few of the pictures below. Once they completely turn this area becomes a very popular tourist destination. I’ve added a few links that provide information on where and when to start your “leaf peeping”.https://vermont.com/foliage/ https://newengland.com/foliage/foliage/peak-fall-foliage-map/ https://www.visit-vermont.com/state/foliage/ I hope you find these helpful.

Soon the leaves will be vibrant like this…

There’s lots of ways to enjoy the fall season and Fall Festivals are a big part of the season. I recently made a video about fall festivals that I’ve added below.

The Fall Season is rapidly approaching.

As I mentioned earlier, since we’ve been here in Vermont, we’ve been able to travel to Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut and spend a little time in Massachusett and New Hampshire. I need to share some about those places. But, I think it will be in our next YouTube. You can find it at https://www.youtube.com/@escapingnormalrv and maybe they’ll be more here. Stay Tuned and be sure to subscribe!

Until next time!
